Last week GIZ programme Skills Development for Economic Transformation (SD4T), NIRDA Rwanda and ICON-INSTITUTE Consulting Gruppe concluded the Incubator/Accelerator Facility (I/AF) Phase II project in the Wood Sector in Rwanda. At the closing ceremony, ICON-Institute officially handed over the IAF phase II to NIRDA, marking a major step forward in strengthening Rwanda’s wood value chain. The IAF at NIRDA functions to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of Startups and SMES in the wood sector through business development, technology and innovation, market linkages and sector-wide connectivity.

- Managerial and Technical Training for SMEs
- Standard Operating Procedures and Case Studies for SMEs
- Networking Forum for Wood Sector Actors
- Finance and Investment readiness
