PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Eurostat collaborates with 11 countries in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia (EECCA) to support statistical cooperation and harmonization. This initiative which is financed by the European Union aims to help Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan align their statistical systems with European and international standards. The objective is to ensure the gradual convergence of their economic and social data, making it more harmonized and comparable.

- Delivering the training sessions, ensuring accessibility in both English and Russian.

- Developing training curricula that align with international statistical norms and methodologies.

- Implementing quality assurance measures to ensure the effectiveness of the training.
