PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Team Europe consists of the EU, its Member States. The concept was launched as part of the EU’s global response to the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020. Its stands for impact, innovation and overall coherence and sends a strong message of European partnership and solidarity. It is about pulling together resources for better coordination to achieve the greatest sustainable impact and about branding EU interventions and creating more visibility, The Team Europe Initiatives (TEI) are the flagship of the Team Europe approach. They deliver concrete results for partner countries, in line with their strategic and national priorities, and promote the Team Europe’ brand.
In Haiti, a TEI in the field of education and technical and vocational training (TVET) has been identified as a critical element to supporting a sustainable and inclusive development policy in Haiti and a priority area to respond to the current crisis, the TEI being chosen as the flagship area of joint EU and MS intervention for the 2021-2027 programming period.
In line with the TEI concept note in education in Haiti, the design process is defined as the identification and formulation of planned ‘interventions’ comprised of complementary and coherent actions. The validation process refers to the joint characteristic of the design process and the necessary steps for common agreement on the formulated interventions between participating actors, through coordination of the TEI working group. Specific objectives of the assignment are: 1. Identify and formulate the key design elements of the TEI in education and TVET in Haiti, together with participating actors, and 2. Support the EU delegation to Haiti in the coordination, animation and management of the TEI working group in Haiti, in view of the validation at local level of the designed interventions.
