This Framework Service Contract is intended to support the work of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) in the European Parliament by enabling it to order written expertise as well as workshops in the areas of competence of the EMPL Committee. The European Parliament seeks independent expert advice on a variety of current and emerging issues connected to its work.
ICON-INSTITUT provides expertise in all aspects of employment policy, working conditions, labour law and new forms of employment appearing through digitalisation, as well as vocational training policy and professional qualifications. Also, questions relating to the European Social Fund and workers' mobility and immigration, including in view of Brexit, will be dealt with.
