PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Regional Center of Competences for the Promotion of Employment (CRCPE) was created following the capitalisation of several initiatives within the framework of the project "Centers of Green Innovations for the agri-food sector (ProCIVA)", implemented by the German Cooperation - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since 2015. The GIZ will cease its support for the agricultural sector in Benin by 2023/2024 and will initiate a new program on vocational training and sustainable growth for quality jobs called ‘The project for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises in Benin (ProPME)’. In this context, the GIZ through the two projects – is committed to continuing its support to the CRCPE with the objective of making it an independent and financially sustainable institution.

To this end, the aim of the current assignment is to conduct a multidimensional feasibility study on the creation of the CRCPE, considering the political, economic, legal, institutional and social aspects and positioning the Center in the national, regional and international ecosystems.
