Since 2007, ICON INSTITUT Public Sector GmbH, together with partners and Eurostat organising different training courses within European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP).ESTP aims at maintaining a high level of competence and ensuring that quality is consistent throughout the European Statistical System (ESS). The courses provide statisticians of the ESS with continuous training in new methods, techniques and best practices related to the statistical subject fields and integrate the application of European concepts and definitions.
ICON INSTITUTE Public Sector GmbH is in charge of organising and conducting following training courses:
• Presentation, facilitation and consultation skills for statistical trainers - Introductory and Advanced course • Writing statistical textsfor different audiences • Project management: working together and getting things done - The power of partnerships • Planning and producing simple statistical products to improve statistical literacy for a wide audience • Digital dissemination of statistics: Focus on data visualisation • Data acquisition with respect to privately held data based on partnerships
