Evaluation of ETF activities in Work Based Learning
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Since 2013, the ETF has played an active role in international collaboration on work-based learning (WBL). In cooperation with UNESCO and other international organizations, the ETF organized workshops that contributed to the development of WBL policies and tools. In 2015, the ETF launched a regional project (2015–2017) to promote WBL in the Eastern Partnership region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and Kazakhstan, using a peer-learning approach to foster policy development and implementation.
ICON-INSTITUTE conducted successfully an evaluation with the objective to assess the effectiveness and impact of the ETF’s actions in developing WBL in SEET and EP countries during the 2015–2018 period. The evaluation was conducted in three phases: the inception phase, which involved creating a methodological approach; the field phase, with country visits for data collection; and the synthesis phase, where findings were analysed, and conclusions and recommendations were made for the final report.
