PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The ICON's scope of work involves, first and foremost, providing expertise through statistical projects aimed at enhancing the production, collection, and dissemination of high-quality statistics. The services encompass various elements:

• Managing 25 statistical projects

• Conducting evaluations, assessments, and analyses of data availability, as well as ensuring compliance with EU requirements in methodology and procedures.

• Proposing short and medium-term improvements based on evaluations.

• Organizing workshops, training courses, consultancies, study visits, in-country events, regional events, and other activities to explain EU requirements in detail.

• Assisting in organizing traineeships.

• Providing technical assistance for data collection, treatment, analysis, and dissemination through missions and help desks.

• Additionally, ICON organizes peer/sector reviews of partner countries according to Eurostat methodology.
