TRANSformative MONitoring for Enhanced Equity (TransMonEE)
PROJECT WAS RUNNING IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES
Armenia, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Tajikistan
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
UNICEF's TransMONEE information system, initiated in 1992, monitors the impact of economic and social changes on children and families. Transferred to UNICEF's Regional Offices in 2009, it was updated using the Social Protection Framework to track social inequities and exclusion affecting children.
The project aimed to provide evidence for child welfare initiatives by refining the system with relevant indicators based on national data and surveys. Key results included establishing a comprehensive monitoring framework, developing equity-focused indicators, building partnerships with key stakeholders, and integrating TransMONEE with other datasets to strengthen its effectiveness.
