The Tat Lan Programme aimed to improve livelihoods and food security in Rakhine State through a comprehensive set of interventions based on community involvement, innovation, and government engagement. The project focused on sustainable food and nutrition security while increasing household incomes. All activities were rooted in a village-based participatory planning process that included both men and women in decision-making.
ICON-INSTITUT was contracted by Care International to conduct an assessment to establish benchmark indicators for monitoring and evaluation, implement a baseline assessment to inform strategic project design and accurate targeting, and contribute to the UNOPS Livelihoods and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT) mid-term evaluation. This evaluation allowed LIFT to compare conditions across different agro-ecological zones and track progress based on indicators set in the LIFT framework, reporting on initial outcomes and progress from the programme’s interventions.
